About the Owners
Graham & Nicky acquired Caldhu Cottage in semi-derelict condition in 2020. They then spent 3 years lovingly restoring the cottage to create a place that feels genuinely welcoming — a cottage with character, comfort and a sense of calm that reflects the landscape around it. The restoration was a hands‑on project, guided by respect for the cottage’s historic roots and a desire to preserve its warmth and simplicity. Natural materials, thoughtful details and a focus on peaceful, uncluttered spaces all reflect their belief that a holiday home should feel both grounding and uplifting. Their hope is that guests feel at home the moment they arrive and leave already thinking about their next stay.
